Opening marks will be by Ásdís Halla Bragadóttir, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. We will also be joined by Hans Tómas Björnsson and Egill Skúlason, scientific inventors, Tom Flanagan, a technology transfer expert from UCD in Ireland, and Milla Koistinaho, investor in deep tech, who will share their insights and experiences.
Following the program, a panel discussion moderated by Bergur Ebbi Benediktsson will provide an opportunity to explore different approaches and challenges in bringing scientific innovation to market. The panel will include the speakers as well as Einar Mäntylä, CEO of Auðna, and Jón Ingi Bergsteinsson from IceBAN, the Icelandic Business Angel Network.
