MasterClass in Scientific Innovation

MasterClass in scientific innovation for Research Fund beneficiaries May 27 to 29.

Audna and Rannís held a three-day MasterClass in scientific innovation for Research Fund beneficiaries from May 27 to 29 in collaboration with Hugverkastofan. The course was well attended and was successful in all respects. In addition to Auðna's experts, we had great people join us, Mathieu Grettir Skúlason from Evolytes, Eiríkur Sigurðsson from Hugverkastoftun, Helga Valfells from Crowberry, Þórhallur Magnússon research professor from HÍ and Ari Kristinn Jónsson from Videntifier. The course discussed the main issues related to intellectual property and innovation, the journey of entrepreneurs, value creation and project financing through funds and investors. Actress and director María Ellingsen taught us methods for presenting interesting ideas to others. The participants were given guidance and the opportunity to think of their own research projects based on scientific innovation, which aims to increase the value and social impact of research. It will be exciting to follow the participants and their projects in the future!
