MasterClass in Value Creation

Audna TTO held a 3-day Masterclass in value creation for researchers on August 14-16th 2019, focusing on how to create start-ups and valuable solutions from research. It takes more than a great idea and passion to change society, revolutionize industries and integrate new technological solutions. It also requires entrepreneurial skills, intellectual property strategy, knowledge of the regulatory environment, the right team, connections to key players and access to investors. The MasterClass was held in Sjávarklasinn.

Among the instructors were Jón Ingi Benediktsson from Accelerace in Denmark, Eugen Steiner from Health Cap in Sweden, Hannes Ottósson from the Iceland Innovation Center, Einar Mäntylä from Audna TTO, Anna Margrét Guðjónsdóttir from Evris/Inspiralia, Ásta Sóllilja Guðmundsdóttir and Susan Christiansen.

Many thanks to the participants and facilitators for making this event such a success. In September, the participants have the opportunity to come back to Audna TTO and present their idea. We look forward to repeating this MasterClass in the future.
