Panel discussion at the Arctic Circle conference
On Friday, October 11th. 2019, Audna TTO hosted a presentation and panel discussion at the Arctic Circle conference in Harpa. Sigurður Hannesson, executive director of the Federation of Icelandic Industries and board member of Audna TTO, gave the opening speech, and Mona Wan, assistant director of the license office at Stanford University in the United States, led a panel discussion that discussed technology transfer in the Nordic countries and what role technology transfer offices can play in solving the climate problem. The panel included representatives of Audna TTO, Aalto University in Helsinki, DTU in Copenhagen, Illisimatusarfik University in Greenland, Chalmers University in Gothenburg and SNITTS, the association of technology transfer offices in Sweden. On this occasion, the collaboration of technology transfer offices in the Nordic countries was officially launched, which aims to collect practical solutions from the entire scientific environment of the Nordic countries to meet the major climate challenges that the world is facing.
